Sostek Home Care excels at assisting mothers with their newborn infants. We offer 24-hour live-in care and limited nights. Our experienced Newborn Care Professionals offer physical and emotional support, assist you with caring for your baby, and if needed, teach you about newborn care, perform homemaking tasks, such as meal preparation assistance and laundry.

What does a “Baby Nurse” do? |

A “Baby Nurse” is willing to do everything you want her to do related to the care of your new baby. Some examples are: breastfeeding support, instructions on diapering, bathing, dressing, doing the baby’s laundry, hints on dealing with a fussy baby, preparing bottles, umbilical and circumcision care, etc. Most importantly, she is there to ease your transition with having a new family member! |

Do I get to interview my “Baby Nurse”?

We encourage requests for particular Baby Nurses. However, if you do not have a specific name to request, we will refer a “Baby Nurse” for you to interview. If you choose to meet a different “Baby Nurse”, we will refer someone else to you, if another “Baby Nurse” is available. If we are unable to refer to you a “Baby Nurse” that you are comfortable hiring, we will refund your deposit in full. |

Are the “Baby Nurses” RNs, LPNs, or Lactation Specialists? |

No, the “Baby Nurses” are not Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, or Lactation Specialists. Not all Baby Nurses are infant C.P.R. certified. |

Is the “Baby Nurse” employed by Sostek Home Care? |

No, we refer the “Baby Nurse” to you; you hire and pay the “Baby Nurse”. |

What happens if I send in a nonrefundable confirmation deposit and find out I want to extend the time once the “Baby Nurse” is with me? |

Your confirmation deposit represents the amount of time you have selected. Any additional time requested beyond the duration represented by your deposit is strictly subject to availability. Please contact the office regarding an extension to find out if we have the “Baby Nurse” scheduled to go on another referral or if she has additional time to give you. |

What happens if the “Baby Nurse” referred to me does not work out? |

Is my deposit refundable? |

|
Agency deposits are refundable in the event that you are not happy with the “Baby Nurse” referred to you during the interview process or if you are not satisfied after she’s begun working for you. If your “Baby Nurse” becomes unavailable for any reason at the time you deliver, we will also refund your agency deposit. We will try to refer a replacement “Baby Nurse” to you, but we cannot guarantee availability of replacement “Baby Nurses”. |

What should I expect to pay for a “Baby Nurse”? |

For a single baby, the rates range from $200 - $280 per day paid to the "Baby Nurse". There is a separate agency service charge of $45 per day. For twins, the rates range from $250 - $350 per day paid to the "Baby Nurse". The agency service charge is $55 per day. For triplets, please call for rates. |
